About the Role:

The Marketing Coordinator will report directly to the Head of Marketing and Communications to help develop and scale innovative marketing solutions from the ground up. They will play a key role in the tactical implementation and execution of a future-forward omnichannel marketing strategy rooted in environmental advocacy, biotechnology innovation, and intersectionality. They will be involved in the day-to-day creative operations of the Marketing & Communications department and demonstrate strong attention to detail, communication skills, and passion for amplifying the brand's mission.

The Marketing Coordinator will have proven that they are a highly organized problem solver and a resourceful self-starter who enjoys working with a high-performing team. They will also work closely with the erthos® Product and Business Development teams, helping to deliver impactful and creative marketing campaigns. These campaigns will transform highly technical concepts and innovative solutions into digestible content, supporting the company's brand and sales enablement targets via digital, PR, events, and more.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following key areas:

  • Sales Enablement:
  • Develop and manage B2B sales enablement materials, including presentations, case studies, and product one-pagers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create customized content for client pitches and proposals.
Ad-Hoc Design Content and B2B New Business Assets:
  • Create visually dynamic and informative content for marketing materials such as website graphics, social media posts, infographics, and presentations.
  • Ensure all marketing materials are consistent with the brand's visual identity and messaging.
Event Coordination:
  • Plan and execute company participation in B2B industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Manage event logistics, including booth setup, promotional materials, and post-event follow-up.
Digital and Email Campaigns:
  • Assist in developing and executing B2B digital marketing campaigns, including web, social media, and email.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to provide insights and optimize marketing strategies.
PR Initiatives:
  • Support the development and distribution of press releases and media pitches.
  • Assist in securing media coverage in top-tier industry publications and technical news outlets.
Award Submissions:
  • Research relevant industry awards and prepare submissions to enhance the company's market credibility.
  • Track award application statuses and report outcomes.
Administrative Support:
  • Support the marketing team in various administrative tasks, including day-to-day marketing operations and reporting using project management software, including Notion.
  • Ensure quality and consistency across all marketing materials are up-to-date with current design trends, best practices, and content.

About You:

First things first, let's make sure you check off some of the basics...

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent training and professional experience
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a similar role, preferably within the tech, sustainability, or materials science sectors
  • Experience in a fast-paced working environment, such as advertising, with strong organizational time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously; project management experience is a plus
  • Proven experience in developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns, both digital and traditional
  • Proficient experience in growing community across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, and Tiktok), streamlining content creation, leveraging digital marketing tools including Google Analytics, SEO/SEM, and CRM systems
  • Experience with marketing software and tools, including Flodesk or Mailchimp, Pitch.com, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Google Sheets, and ChatGPT or other AI tools
  • Excellent copywriting and editorial skills, specifically for newsletters and proposal presentations/decks
  • Experience with event planning and coordination, such as trade shows, pop-up activations, virtual events, and community engagement activities
  • Ability to analyze marketing data and metrics to optimize campaign performance and make strategic data-driven decisions
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to challenges
  • Proficiency in brand management and the ability to maintain a consistent visual language identity across all marketing channels
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
