Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager and Content Creator who can grow our social media presence, build a network of influencers, and create compelling content to build brand awareness, reach and revenue. Reporting directly to the head of marketing, this is a unique opportunity to shape the voice of a groundbreaking company.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with Inagene's mission and business goals.
  • Manage and produce content on social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn), creating and curating a feed that highlights our products, brand, and community stories.
  • Build and manage a community of influencers to increase reach, engagement, and drive sales.
  • Create engaging and informative content across various formats, including blog posts, email marketing, and social media.
  • Design and produce multimedia content utilizing video and graphic design skills.
  • Monitor and champion the Inagene customer to build a community and grow our brand presence through UGC.
  • Regularly review, report on, and optimize content based on performance metrics, audience feedback, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the head of marketing to ensure all social media content is on-brand, engaging, and relevant to the target audience.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager and Content Creator.
  • Deep knowledge of content marketing, community management, influencer marketing, and social media platforms as tools to drive revenue and build a brand.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to take initiative to drive results.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in multimedia content creation, including video and graphic design.
  • Strong networking skills to build relationships with influencers.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and community building.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced startup environment.

Location

  • We are a remote first company with hybrid office work out of our headquarters located in downtown Toronto, Ontario.
  • This role is open to anyone working in Canada.
