The successful candidate will be perfectly bilingual in French and English and will be recognized for their ability to collaborate on several projects based on priorities, while also being autonomous and demonstrating initiative.

DESCRIPTION OF JOB

  • Participate in research, identification and qualification activities for potential customers for the company's products and services;
    Participate in the creation and maintenance of a global database of customer and prospect contact information;
    Communicate with customers and prospects to inform them about the product and service offerings, or to invite them to company events;
    Participate in the development of communication plans;
    Independently write the content of editorial and promotional material (press releases, articles, etc.);
    Promote products and services to the trade press;
    Participate in the creation and development of promotional tools (brochures, advertisements, website, posters, etc.);
    Communicate with suppliers of exhibitions and promotional materials, negotiate prices and purchasing conditions;
    Update information on the company’s websites and intranet;
    Validate and translate the documentation produced and other documentation;
    Collaborate generally on internal and external communications projects and perform administrative tasks inherent to the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or journalism;
    Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position;
    Perfect command of French and English, both orally and in writing;
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
    Great ability to work with tight deadlines;
    In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
    Recognized and proven creative abilities;
    Good technical knowledge of engineering and CAD software is an asset.

    Fluency in English is a requirement for this position, as the responsibilities related to it concern markets mainly outside Quebec, and the person may be required to communicate with staff located in other divisions of the company located abroad.
