OVERVIEW

Peak Cellars is located on a 7-acre property in Lake Country, and is home to our Goldie Road Vineyard. Wine isn't the only thing the property produces; the half-acre organic vegetable garden and two greenhouses supply the highest quality fruits and vegetables for the Garden Bistro.

We are looking for a Wine Club and Marketing Manager to join our incredible team of wine and food lovers.

Role type: Permanent, full-time, on-site

Reports into: Peak Cellars General Manager

Scope:

The Wine Club and Marketing Manager is a winery ambassador who delivers the highest standard of service to our valued members and guests. The position involves a full understanding of membership promotions and obligations, maintaining and growing the member's database, membership engagement, wine shipment fulfillment, and event coordination. This role also involves managing the overall Marketing Department, which includes developing and executing the winery's annual marketing plan.

Wine Club

Responsibilities :

  • Administer and evolve the wine club program
  • Strategize and grow the wine club database with qualified candidates
  • Build relationships with wine club members and provide members with accurate and timely information
  • Co-ordinate e-commerce and wine club orders and shipments, including notifications, fulfilling customized orders, communicating tracking information on shipments, and organizing pick-ups
  • Promote and organize member and winery experiences and events
  • Work with accounting to report and analyze key metrics on wine club & experiences participation and events profitability
  • Maintain training materials and provide training to new team members on the wine club and guest experience programs
  • Assist with booking experiences, reservations, ticket sales, and wine orders
  • Be a visible presence at the winery, engaging with guests, members, and staff
  • Produce and distribute Newsletter content, including member offers and information previews before new vintage release

Marketing

Responsibilities :

  • Content creation for all winery brands through content writing, photography, and graphic design.
  • Works with design partners to coordinate sourcing and production of marketing assets as necessary for the execution of online and traditional marketing initiatives
  • Work with the General Manager to develop and execute the annual marketing plan and budget.
  • Support teams across the winery to ensure that all messaging, experiences, and content align with corporate messaging and goals.
  • Develop and distribute content such as newsletters and blogs internally and externally.
  • Develop and maintain a social media strategy, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X, as well as a content calendar and measurement metrics.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and timely presence on customer review sites such as Trip Advisor and Google.
  • Maintaining and updating corporate websites, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information and e-commerce flows smoothly.
  • Assist with industry and community associations and events.
  • Develop and maintain design and content for all product and program branding, including trade marketing collateral, direct-to-consumer collateral, consumer education and experiences, website, and digital media

The ideal candidate is:

  • Dedicated to providing personalized and professional service to all guests and to showcasing the local region and estate offerings.
  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or graphic and web design.
  • Has experience using Winedirect, Commerce7, and other winery related software
  • Has experience using Adobe Creative Suit and Canva
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects at one time
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as well as overtime from time to time.
  • Able to manage time efficiently and has strong attention to detail.
  • Able to pay strong attention to detail.
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Holds a Serving it Right certification.
  • Holds or is willing to work towards holding a First Aid, Level 1 certification.

Compensation:

  • Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000
