The Opportunity

Our client is a leading supplier of industrial parts and services. They are seeking a qualified and motivated individual responsible for territory development and sales for OEM clients. The successful candidate can be located either in Edmonton or Nisku, AB.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Drive new business development and maintain existing sales, focusing on hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication products.
  • Engage in direct OEM sales activities: prospect new customers, set appointments, and respond to customer needs.
  • Collaborate with management to develop sales strategies and identify new business prospects.
  • Manage customer base effectively to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Maintain productive relationships with team members.
  • Attend required training and sales meetings.
  • Oversee all phases of the sales process from prospecting to closing deals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of fluid power dynamics and equipment.
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • CFPS (Certified Fluid Power Specialist) certification is an asset.
  • Sales and service-oriented with the ability to plan for growth and profitability.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and self-discipline in task completion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment and independently.
