The Marketing and Events Coordinator oversees the complete marketing program and budget for Assante Hydrostone.

The Marketing and Events Coordinator is responsible for creating and executing our content and social media strategies, developing original content, and suggesting creative ways to promote our brand. This includes producing and scheduling social media content and writing blog posts about industry-related topics.

The successful candidate will also oversee the end-to-end process of branch marketing events. This includes developing detailed project plans, managing vendors, creating event agendas, coordinating speakers, and promoting events. Onsite, they are the go-to person for setup, troubleshooting, and breakdown, ensuring everything aligns with brand standards.

This role requires a blend of creativity, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities include:

  • Researching industry-related topics.
  • Preparing well-structured drafts.
  • Editing and proofreading written pieces for publication.
  • Promoting content on social networks and monitoring engagement.
  • Identifying customers' needs and recommending new topics.
  • Updating our website as needed.
  • Researching audience preferences and discovering current social trends.
  • Creating engaging text, image, and video content for social.
  • Staying up to date with changes on all social platforms, ensuring maximum effectiveness.
  • Developing and driving marketing event project plans from start to finish.
  • Working with vendors to align resources and pricing.
  • Promoting marketing events on appropriate social media channels.
  • Managing onsite event execution.
  • Tracking and reporting on metrics.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for events.
  • Budget management.
  • Liaising with external agencies on paid media initiatives and reporting on results.

Requirements and skills:

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
  • Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail.
  • Collaborative spirit with a strong client focus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress) and Event Ticketing Systems (Ticket Tailor).
  • Experience with design tools (e.g. Canva, Capcut, and in-app social tools).
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
  • Time-management skills.
  • Experience using multiple social media platforms (e.g. Meta, LinkedIn).
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video).
  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Multitasking and analytical skills.
