What is the Opportunity

As part of our ongoing development, we are looking for a Coordinator, Marketing & Communication to support our team. Reporting to the Team Leader, Marketing & Communication, the incumbent will support the team in coordinating various marketing and administrative initiatives. You will take part in the coordination and deployment of marketing and communications activities, including business development events and conferences, as well as various tasks related to the team’s initiatives. If you demonstrate versatility, organization and attention to detail, as well as the ability to coordinate several initiatives at the same time, this might be the right opportunity for you.

 

What you will do

  • Organize and coordinate Addenda's presence at various industry events, such as room/restaurant searches and reservations, visibility material management, participant coordination, etc.;
  • Research and manage promotional items and customer gifts;
  • Manage and maintain relationships with external suppliers;
  • Coordinate the production of communication pieces and documents on a quarterly basis;
  • Collaborate on special projects (content, webinars and sponsorships);
  • Coordinate various types of requests made to the team and follow-up on related communications;
  • Manage expense allocations and follow up invoices with the accounting department;
  • Manage and coordinate event calendars and contents;
  • Support the Marketing and Communications team and the Vice-President.

What you will need to succeed

Experience and Knowledge

  • College degree in communications, marketing, office automation or a related field;
  • At least three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a similar role;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Skills and Abilities

  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple files with different collaborators;
  • Interpersonal teamwork skills, autonomy and solution-oriented approach;
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail;
  • Effective time management and ability to meet tight deadlines;
  • Good communication and writing skills in French and English.
