Purpose of the position

The Coordinator of linguistic Services coordinates all translation and localization activities and initiatives for the healthcare sector. The successful candidate will report to the Quality Assurance Manager.

Based on their professional experience, the Coordinator of Linguistic Services, supports promotional campaigns, medical documents, and multilingual communication activities.

Responsibilities                                                                                    

  • Coordinate translation and localization projects with internal and external resources.
  • Work closely with project managers and account managers to ensure linguistic consistency and quality.
  • Manage translators, proofreaders, and other linguistic vendors.
  • Actively participate in the quality assurance process by reviewing and editing translations to ensure high accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and manage all internal and external multilingual communication systems.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

Requirements

  • College or bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics, communications, or a related field (essential).
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a linguistic services or translation coordination role.
  • Experience in linguistic quality assurance or proofreading translations.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
  • Knowledge of translation and localization project management tools.
  • Teamwork skills, initiative, and leadership abilities.
