  • Our Client is looking for a Marketing/Communications Specialist and requires the services of a Marketing/Communications Specialist to join Transition team and support the program and projects within.

REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor of Communications, or related education.

  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Change Communications Specialist or Communications/Marketing Specialist in medium to large complex transformation projects.

  • Medium to large complex projectsare those that:

  • ? Cross multiple business units and / or stakeholder groups.

  • ? Involve multiple direct project participants.

  • ? Operate for an extended period (i.e. more than 9 months).

  • including work such as: analyzing and evaluatingthe impact of change on the organization, types of content creation used, size and types of stakeholder pools targeted and engaged, and developing documentation and training materials.

  • Must an possess exceptional ability to communicate (written and verbal skills) in English.

  • Must have highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and team members.

  • Must be available a minimum of 50% of time for on-site work in Fredericton, NB.

  • Be a permanent resident of Canada for a minimum of 10 years and be able to acquire a Government of Canada Security Clearance. (Forms will be provided by the Department upon hire).

  • Note: Without 10-year residency the process for receiving a security clearance would be too long to support the tight project timelines and requirements of this engagement.

  • Demonstrated experience in aChange Communication role for projects of significant complexity.

  • Scoring will be based on the breadth and depth of experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in creating and executing effective marketing and/or change managementmethodologies/strategies.

  • Demonstrated experience in the development of promotional materials to spread brand awareness in support of changes brought about by a new program and/or initiative.

  • Demonstrated experience in analysing change impactsto an organization's business processes and technology solutions and using this information effectively.

  • Demonstrated experience engaging various stakeholders in the development of communication content.

  • Demonstrated experience working in complex, multi-year, projects with dynamic stakeholder groups including how and what methodologies and tools were used to communicate change.

  • Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility in changing environments, including ability to adjust style and approach to meet the needs of the client or organization.

  • Demonstrate critical thinking and ability to work effectively through problems to find solutions.

  • Demonstrate experience using M365 suite.

  • Demonstrated experience using Canva, Visio or other relevant programs used in content creation.

  • Demonstrated experience working within projects involving personal or confidential data.

  • Describe overall experience with regulatory/policy requirements concerning the protection of personal or confidential information.

  • Demonstrated experience with projects and operations work related to public safety.

  • Describe the function, scope, and size of the referenced experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the 9-1-1 and Emergency Services domains in a Canadian context.
