Marketing Project Manager

Summary:

The qualified candidate will oversee and manage marketing programs, campaigns, and activities (?projects?) from start to finish. This crucial role acts both as a ?bridge? and ?glue? between stakeholders within marketing, across Mircom departments and external agencies, ensuring that all marketing initiatives align with business goals. The candidate's expertise is in project management, and will ensure that marketing activities are completed and delivered on time, within scope, to budget, and to the highest quality, achieving performance outcomes. The candidate will work out of our Head Office in Vaughan, ON.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, project manage and launch product releases for new products.
  • Plan, project manage and deliver marketing content that strengthen Mircom's brand and fosters business growth.
  • Plan, project manage and launch live events and trade shows.
  • Project manage and oversee the execution of digital marketing programs and campaigns including setup, delivery, data, reporting and analytics.
  • Intake, triage and prioritize marketing requests from Sales, Executive, Marketing, Customer Service, Product Management and HR
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, resourcing, and reporting.
  • Create marketing project proposals that turn ideas into approved and actionable projects.
  • Create SOPs (standard operating procedures) for recurring activities that improve efficiency and reduce friction.
  • Organize and maintain digital asset management for marketing.
  • Identify gaps or inefficiencies in marketing tools and best practices within and between teams and suggest improvements.

Requirements and Skills :

  • Post Secondary diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Management or a related program.
  • 3 years plus in a professional marketing or agency environment
  • PMP completed / in-progress is considered an asset.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing setting is considered an asset.
  • Experience in Fire, Life Safety and Security industry is considered an asset.
  • Experience with MS-Projects is considered an asset
  • Familiarity with marketing automation including ActiveCampaign, Hootsuite is considered an asset
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and oral), adept at engaging with stakeholders, including executive leadership to ensure alignment and drive project success.
  • Experience in driving marketing projects that facilitate and increase Brand visability and sales
  • Highly motivated with strong work ethic & ability to collaborate and interact effectively across multiple departments
  • Tech savvy with strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent presentation, organization and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Must be able to travel occasionally
