The Marketing Account Manager is a strategic and results-driven professional responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive growth and success for assigned clients, with a deep understanding of B2B marketing principles and a proven track record of developing and implementing successful full-funnel marketing digital advertising campaigns on LinkedIn, Google Search, Meta, etc. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in establishing and growing client relationships, offering best-in-class marketing strategies, and contributing to the overall success of the marketing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business objectives, target audiences, and marketing challenges.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring regular communication, proactive problem-solving, and ongoing satisfaction.
  • Be the voice of the customer internally and provide product feedback to management and engineering teams.
  • Track and measure the results of marketing campaigns using analytics tools and data-driven insights to optimize strategies for improved performance continuously.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Monitor and proactively flag any potential churn risks within your book of business.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms with your customers/procurement teams, forecast accurately along the way, and drive renewals to close.
  • Collaborate with other marketing team members, including designers, copywriters, and digital marketers, to develop and execute cohesive marketing initiatives.
  • Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, building relationships with potential clients and partners.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B digital advertising marketing in-house or in a client-facing role at a b2b focused agency.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, including market research, segmentation, targeting, positioning, and the marketing mix.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas, negotiate with clients, and build strong relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales or performance goals.
  • Strong track record of retaining and growing your book of business through a deep understanding of Metadata's suite of products and services, and how that aligns with your customers' goals.
  • Proficiency in Gsuite Office Suite, marketing automation platforms (Marketo & Hubspot), and Salesforce CRM.
