Energy Atlantica is a wholesale natural gas trading and marketing company that has been servicing clients in Atlantic Canada and New England for 20 years.

We are looking for the perfect person to help us evaluate, select, and expand into new markets. The candidate will be the head of a business unit, responsible for origination and trading physical natural gas in new geographic locations, achieving appropriate risk-adjusted returns on capital, and hiring and leading any support personnel required for the expansion (i.e. scheduling, trading). Pipelines that would naturally compliment our existing business would include TGP, AGT, IGT, Dawn, Teco, and TCPL, however, we remain open to expanding to other markets where a consistent and favourable return-on-equity can be achieved.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary and, more importantly, an incentive plan designed to be the best in the industry. The incentive component is not subjective, rather it is formulaic, transparent, and paid quarterly. You receive a direct percentage of the profits from your business unit and the proportion paid to you increases as your business unit grows. There are no caps, and the primary goal of the executive team is to support you in earning as much as possible.
