Product Marketing Specialist

As commonsku's Product Marketing Specialist, you'll expand our Product Marketing team to help execute on our go-to-marketing strategy. You will work closely with the Manager of Product Marketing to launch campaigns to our prospects and customers that evangelize our platform and its new features.

You'll use your infectious enthusiasm to communicate the value of commonsku through email campaigns, webinars, paid advertising, and social media. Collaborating closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and the rest of the Marketing team, you'll iterate and perfect processes to contribute toward our goals.

You'll work on:

  • Executing comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature releases, including target audience identification, messaging, and channel strategy.
  • Crafting compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target audience and differentiates our products from competitors.
  • Collaborating with the rest of the marketing team to create marketing materials, such as email, ad, and social copy, visual and design assets, and more.
  • Collaborating with Community Marketing to create social media content, including content in which you will appear on camera
  • Executing and managing product-led webinars, including scheduling, coordinating guests, and running the events.
  • Collaborating closely with product management, sales, and customer success teams to align product marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Supporting the creation of sales enablement materials, including product demos, presentations, battle cards, and training sessions to ensure they are equipped to effectively sell our products.
  • Conducting thorough market research to identify key trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product positioning, messaging, and strategy.
  • Gathering and analyzing customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies. Use customer insights to create targeted marketing campaigns that address pain points and highlight product benefits.
  • Monitoring and analyzing the performance of product marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimize and improve future strategies.
  • Communicating and educating the commonsku team on commonsku platform updates and new features

With the experience we think will help you succeed:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a Product Marketing role
  • Experiencing in a Marketing role in a B2B SaaS technology company (if it was marketing to small and medium sized businesses, that's a plus!)
  • Experience working with Hubspot, Zoom Webinar,, Photoshop, and Asana
  • Experience collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, and Product Management
  • Strong collaboration skills with diverse groups
  • Exceptional communication skills, especially when communicating to different and diverse groups
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while manage multiple priorities with grace, flexibility and humour
  • Proven track record of creativity and creative problem-solving
  • Ability to create excitement and enthusiasm in others
