We seek a seasoned Senior Sales Director who will serve as Country Manager. The ideal candidate has a deep background in digital advertising sales and a proven performance record in growing new territories. This role is ideal for a dynamic leader ready to take on the challenge of building and expanding a sales operation from the ground up. Your job is to scale revenue and build a high-performing team as revenue grows. With at least six years of sales experience, you will bring a strategic vision and hands-on expertise selling to Canadian agencies and brands.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the charge in generating new business, focusing on expanding our footprint within the digital advertising space and driving substantial revenue growth
  • Leverage your relationships and sales skills in territory growth to identify new opportunities, establish market presence, and lay the foundation for long-term success
  • Play a key role in client interactions, particularly in closing high-value deals, while fostering strong, lasting relationships with key accounts
  • Partner closely with the Chief Revenue Officer to shape and execute a robust revenue strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
  • Develop and implement an effective sales process, including setting metrics for pipeline management and leveraging Salesforce to monitor and drive performance
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and shifts in the competitive landscape, using this knowledge to inform strategy and operations
  • While the initial focus will be on personal sales performance, you will eventually be responsible for recruiting, coaching, and managing a high-performing sales team to scale operations
  • Encourage others to maintain open communication and collaboration with Undertone's internal support groups (Planning, Client Services, Product Marketing, Product Development, Technology, HR) to optimize sales capabilities
  • Embody and promote Undertone''s culture, serving as a role model internally and a brand ambassador externally

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of six years in sales, with significant experience in digital advertising and a history of successfully growing new territories
  • Proven track record for team building, coaching, motivating, strategic thinking, business acumen, leadership, and sales techniques
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and clients
  • Strong business acumen with a knack for strategic planning and execution
  • Proficient in leveraging technology, particularly Salesforce, to drive sales performance and operational efficiency
  • Compelling presentation skills with a natural ability to hold strategic conversations and analyze audiences to change tactics
  • Ensure highly productive client relationships and strategic partnerships for the benefit of the organization
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus
