We are seeking a highly skilled an experienced Manager to oversee the planning, coordination and execution of events and employee engagement programs for our Canadian team. This includes incentive trips, closing events, corporate conferences, employee engagement initiatives and sponsorships. The idea candidate has a proven track record of managing high-end events, has a meticulous eye for detail, and excels at fostering employee engagement through memorable and impactful events. The role requires travel and evening/weekend hours when executing an event.

Responsibilities :

Event Planning & Execution

  • Lead the planning and execution of events, including incentive trips, corporate conferences, VIP experiences, closing events, high-profile client events and employee engagement initiatives, both in and out of the office.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure all event elements are aligned with the brand's vision and objectives.
  • Source, negotiate and manage relationships with venues, caterers, and other event vendors to ensure the highest level of service, respect and quality.
  • Oversee event logistics, including budget management, timelines, guest lists, travel arrangements, and on-site event execution.
  • Ensure all events reflect the brands luxury standards, from décor and ambiance to entertainment and guest experiences.

Employee Engagement Programs

  • Develop and implement creative employee engagement events and initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture and enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with HR and other internal stakeholders to understand employee needs and tailor engagement activities accordingly.
  • Organize team building activities, company wide meetings, holiday parties, and other internal events that promote collaboration and morale.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of employee engagement events, gathering feedback and making improvements for future initiatives.
  • Assist with management and oversight of corporate swag store.

Skills & Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in event management, with a strong focus on luxury events and employee engagement.
  • Proven experience managing high profile events with an emphasis on quality and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organization and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing vendor relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with executives, high profile clients and diverse teams.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and delivering unique, memorable experiences.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with grace and professionalism.
  • Certification in Event Planning (CMP) would be considered an asset.
