We are currently looking for a full-time web and graphic designer (32 hours per week) in Montreal to join the communications team.

For the past 27 years, Anne-Marie Chagnon has been creating and handcrafting distinctive jewelry, blending art and emotion. Now surrounded by a multidisciplinary team, the jewelry artist continues to design, manufacture, and assemble all her jewelry in Montreal, from where they are shipped to hundreds of independent boutiques, museums, and galleries worldwide.

ROLE:

Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing and Communication, and in collaboration with the sales and creation team, the person responsible for web and graphic design for the Anne-Marie Chagnon brand will be tasked with delivering creative content for various communication channels (web and print), including the website, newsletters, social media, sales platforms, promotional tools, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with the communication and sales teams in creating all promotional elements (web and print) for jewelry collections: catalogs, posters, advertisements, lookbooks, etc.
  • Perform product photo retouching, both technical and on models.
  • Design 1 to 4 newsletters per week for different brands.
  • Design web graphic content, including visuals for the website, weekly newsletters, web advertising banners, and social media.
  • Prepare all printed assets for various trade shows and retailers.
  • Prepare product photos for different sales platforms (Anne-Marie Chagnon, wellDunn, Simons, Wolf & Badger, etc.).
  • Process orders and follow up with printers.
  • Manage tools provided for representatives.
  • Develop and propose creative concepts that provide visual consistency and align with the brand image and creator's vision.
  • Participate in any other related tasks.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE:

  • Graphic design education (mandatory).
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant design experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom, and Dreamweaver.
  • Knowledge of HTML and PHPList.
  • Ability to work in a Mac environment.
  • Proficient in photo retouching.
  • Attention to detail, good organizational skills.
  • Strong creativity and a clean style.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Quick execution, adherence to deadlines.
  • Highly dynamic team spirit.
  • Professionalism, openness, and flexibility.
  • Eagerness to learn and stay updated on industry trends (an asset).
  • Bilingualism (an asset).
