Western Ag Systems is a leading provider of livestock and grain handling/milling equipment, supplies and service to the Saskatchewan Agricultural community.

We are currently looking for a Consumables Sales Representative for our Saskatoon, SK location!

What You'll Do

  • Proactively grow gross margin sales on consumables products by presenting, promoting and selling consumables product lines to existing and prospective customers.
  • Build and maintain positive business and customer relationships, fostering first time and repeat sales.
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs; educate customers on how the company's products can benefit them financially and professionally.
  • Prepare and present competitive quotes for products based on needs analysis of the specific customer.
  • Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads; maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts.
  • Achieve sales targets within a schedule as agreed upon by management.
  • Monitor the company's industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve your sales techniques and product knowledge to keep abreast of the latest developments, best practices and promotional trends in the industry.
