What you'll do

It's safe to say, there's no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:

• This position is accountable for informing the strategic direction and implementation of an annual integrated communication and change management strategy for Store Operations, managing the development of national training programs, Associate engagement programs and events, establishing communication standards and governance for the delivery of Store Operations programs to enable productivity and engagement across field store operations
• Responsible for managing the implementation of Store Operations communication strategy and projects; leading the development and governance on communications framework
• Leads implementation of integrated communication strategy through development of standard communication protocols and messaging
• Develops training program in collaboration with Learning and Development for all levels of Store Operations to support development and succession planning
• Develops recommendations on engagement initiatives, assessing effectiveness of communication platforms and messages, influences teams and Field and oversees engagement improvement opportunities
• Accountable for planning and executing Field Leadership events
• Leads a team, providing direction and guidance on department activities; reviews performance, provides continuous feedback, mentors and trains team members and is a resource to answer questions and discuss best practices

What you'll need

To begin your career with us, we require the following:

• Minimum five (5)) years of experience in Corporate Communications preferred; with progressive people management or leadership experience; training and development experience considered an asset

• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to act as a collaborative partner with senior management and positively influence management and staff to act in the best interest of the Company
• Strong problem-solving skills including analysis of information (i.e. requirements; description of problems); provide solutions with cost implications to effectively resolve issues and execute strategic solutions
• Solid project management skills including structured project methodologies

Salary Range: $85,430 - $129,188* /year

*This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
