Who we need

Reporting to the Executive General Manager, North America, we are looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist to join our team. You will focus on strategic and innovative digital marketing plans and campaigns to drive brand recognition and sales in North America. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to leverage data to make informed decisions and develop and execute marketing strategies that enhance our market presence and drive customer engagement.

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Toronto.

As our new Senior Marketing Specialist, you will:

  • Own and launch the strategy. You will develop and implement a digital marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer retention. You will create and manage exciting and original multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, content marketing, social media, email marketing and events. You will manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Deliver. You will work across a global team on various marketing programs and tactics, including coordinating and promoting our presence at industry conferences and tradeshows, planning and hosting webinars and customer conferences, launching digital marketing campaigns, including email and social media, and supporting all lead generation plans and activities. You will ensure all marketing collateral, including business cards, hard copies of reports, promotional items and booth setup associated with events, are in stock and shipped to events and tradeshows before the team's arrival.
  • Analyze. You will conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive market share and offerings. You will analyze digital campaign performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of messages, timing, and offers and leverage insights to optimize your approach for better results.
  • Collaborate. You will work with the product and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and support product launches. You will assist with data entry and maintenance of prospect and customer information in our CRM.
  • Nurture a growth mindset. You will stay updated on industry trends and emerging marketing technologies.

You have:

  • The marketing experience. You have a proven track record of developing and executing successful digital SaaS marketing campaigns. You have experience designing and rolling out a digital marketing strategy that aligns with the company's global objectives. You bring fresh perspectives, marketing insights, innovative approaches, and a commitment to executing and following through on plans. As an individual contributor, you bring both strategic experience and the ability to execute tasks effectively.
  • The technical skills. You have an in-depth understanding of digital marketing channels and tools, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing. You are proficient in marketing automation platforms and CRM systems. You have excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • The interpersonal skills. You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You can create content as needed and excel at adapting your tone and voice to suit the brand, audience, and medium. You are a strong collaborator, and you enjoy working closely with Sales. You can build connections with internal and external stakeholders and manage vendor relationships.
  • The flexibility. You are willing and able to travel throughout North America to set up, support, and attend networking and industry events.
