Job Summary

As the Director of Marketing (DOM), you will drive our automotive retail business by leading strategic marketing initiatives, enhancing brand visibility, and boosting revenue growth. You will shape marketing strategies across various channels, manage the marketing team, and work closely with senior management. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll provide insights and recommendations to guide our business strategy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Create and execute marketing strategies to drive traffic, sales, and engagement. Collaborate with teams to align marketing with business objectives.
  • Brand Management: Enhance brand image across all platforms, oversee engaging content, and ensure consistency in internal communications.
  • Advertising and Promotion: Plan and manage advertising campaigns, optimize promotions for ROI, and monitor market and competitor activity.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage marketing budgets, allocate resources effectively, and achieve objectives.
  • Digital Marketing: Implement digital strategies for social media, email, web, and content. Use segmentation and targeting to enhance reach.
  • Inventory and Events: Align marketing with inventory, coordinate efforts for events and promotions.
  • BDC Oversight: Lead the BDC team in customer inquiries, lead generation, and appointment scheduling. Optimize processes to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
  • Dynamic Pricing System Implementation: Apply dynamic pricing for competitive vehicle pricing. Adjust strategies based on market conditions.

Qualifications & Other Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of marketing experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role, with a proven track record in the automotive or related industry.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective marketing campaigns, with strong expertise in digital marketing, social media, and data analytics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

This position is supervised based on a management by objective philosophy and may receive little to no direct supervision at times. Working independently but cooperatively with-in the organization.

The incumbent is expected to adhere to the goals and objectives of the organization and act in accordance with the guidelines set by the Queenston Automotive Group. The incumbent will receive feedback based on set guidelines, objectives, and metrics as well as customer satisfaction and feedback.
