The Opportunity:

MCW is currently seeking for an enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Business Development Leader - Western Canada, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to apply their skills and knowledge, to develop their professional career and to work with a marketing team across Canada. This position is best suited for a motivated self-starter with a positive attitude. Please note that this is a full-time permanent position. This position is open to our Vancouver, Edmonton, and Calgary offices.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 a year

What you will get up to:

  • Work closely with the leadership team and be responsible for developing and preparing responses to RFQ/RFP documents.
  • Prepare fee letters, presentations and various marketing content.
  • Research and review new project opportunities, including monitoring bid sites.
  • Liaise with Subject Matter Experts and leadership in Western Canada to create persuasive proposal and copy materials.
  • Maintain proposal workload tracker, CRM, and long lead pipeline databases.
  • Maintain and update corporate library of marketing and proposal content.
  • Work with marketing team across Canada to promote our work on social media and our website.
  • Other marketing and administrative tasks as needed.

Skills, Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing or communications.
  • Experience within the architecture, engineering, or construction industry is considered an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including superior copywriting, editing, and storytelling abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Sharepoint)
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Acrobat Pro)
  • Strategic thinker who excels working in a collaborative, team environment
  • Highly organized and proactive with capacity for attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and assess situations of urgency with minimal oversight
