Job Summary: As the Talent Acquisition Manager at AMH, you will be a strategic partner in attracting, sourcing, and retaining top talent across the organization. This is a 6-month contract position where you will work closely with hiring managers and report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). You will develop comprehensive recruitment strategies and enhance the overall candidate experience. Your role will also involve fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring that AMH remains a great place to work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with managers to assess staffing requirements, craft candidate profiles, update or create job descriptions, and design effective attraction strategies.
  • Proactively source, network, and identify top talent through various channels.
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines and maps.
  • Conduct initial screening interviews, coordinate interview schedules, and manage the recruitment process end-to-end. Ensure clear communication with candidates, including timely updates for disqualified applicants.
  • Develop and execute targeted advertisements and seasonal recruitment campaigns.
  • Regularly seek out referrals and plan participation in job fairs.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to hiring managers on candidate suitability.
  • Utilize assessments, skills tests, and other tools to ensure a thorough vetting process.
  • Maintain and enhance the company's career profiles and pages, acting as the primary point of contact for the company's LinkedIn account.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to align social media initiatives with recruitment efforts, aiming to grow the company's online presence.
  • Train and guide managers to make informed hiring decisions.
  • Contribute to Talent Review processes by providing insights into talent across the company.
  • Update the Competitor Salary Database and support the COO with compensation market reviews.

Onboarding:

  • Advise on employment terms and coach managers through offer negotiations.
  • Assist in creating onboarding schedules and conduct new hire office tours.
  • Conduct check-ins with new hires at the 30, 60, and 90-day marks, offering feedback and support where necessary.

Meetings:

  • Conduct weekly 1:1 meetings with hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
  • Engage in daily candidate screening interviews and vetting sessions.
  • Network regularly with schools, industry associations, and potential prospects.

Administration:

  • Create and manage the recruitment budget.
  • Create and maintain the Recruitment Pipeline Dashboard.
  • Create and maintain candidate files and status trackers.
  • Regularly update and maintain job descriptions.
  • Update the Competitor Salary Database.

Reporting:

  • Review the Candidate Pipeline Dashboard with the COO on a weekly basis.
  • Distribute a monthly Recruitment Report to the Leadership Team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies and social media platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
