DHL Express is looking for a Employee & Labor Relations Specialist to join our team. This role requires a proactive individual who excels in a fast-growing environment and wants to start building a career in human resources. This role involves administrative and reporting requirements associated with labour relations, compliance, and special projects.


How will you contribute to the success of DHL?

As a member of the Labour Relations team, this role will work closely with the Director, Labour Relations, Policy and Payroll Compliance to:

  • Coordinate the administration of reports and processes related to government declarations, grievance tracking, conflict of interest management, and other national initiatives
  • Support the administration of DHL's Internal Control (CRISP) for the HR team
  • Conduct various analysis, information gathering, and research related to labor, compliance, grievances, and legislation.
  • Playing a critical role in national labor relations and compliance initiatives:
  • - Modernizing policies and creating an employee handbook
  • - Centralization and harmonization of HR and RT model documents
  • - Process Automations
  • - Investigation process
  • - Ad hoc assigned projects
  • Follow up on identified compliance results
  • Support the administration of the Grievance process to ensure all grievance, arbitration, CIRB files are prepared for litigation
  • Support the administration of implementation of legislatives changes that impact company policies, processes and workflows
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bilingual - French and English
  • Experience in HRIS/data analytics is an asset
  • High level of attention to detail and analytics
  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Strong customer focus and ability to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to learn quickly and organized
  • Responsible and able to solve problems
  • Flexibility in terms of working hours
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency
  • Exposure to or interest in labour relations and labour law
  • 1-2 years of relative experience in human resources
