Reporting to the VP of Marketing Communications, the Marketing & Communications Multi-Disciplinary Designer will be working on a wide range of marketing programs to promote DAC's services. They will be passionate about the brand, learn in details what we do for our clients and be able to play with content and visual assets in order to communicate our added value in a way that will captivate prospects and existing clients.

  • 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Hands-on experience with web content management tools, like WordPress
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva
  • Strong understanding of consumer usability
  • Experience with UX design principles and practices is an asset.
  • Experience doing video editing and animation using platforms like PremierePro and AfterEffects
  • Strong interest and some knowledge of digital marketing disciplines: SEO, media, content strategy, local presence management
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written - able to adapt the content provided to better convey the messaging
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines
  • Ability to present ideas with confidence, in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to justify design and copywriting decisions based on practical experience or explanations found in literature
  • Nice to have: bilingualism - English
  • French, Spanish or German
  • Nice to have: familiarity with B2B advertising campaigns

Responsibilities:

Be involved and/or lead a variety of marketing projects for the DAC brand:

  • Project types: newsletters, website updates, social posts, sales materials, awards, case studies, events, blog postings.
  • Manage deadlines, resources, stakeholders and budgets.
  • Create, proofread, adapt and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice
  • Evaluate and monitor marketing performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics.

Develop creative design for digital and print materials for the DAC brand:

  • Clearly represent and roll out the aesthetic and identity of the DAC brand across multiple projects to build tight marketing campaigns
  • Develop and present new creative concepts in order to communicate effectively DAC's brand messaging
  • Conceptualize, design and edit digital and print DAC marketing materials which consist of, but are not limited to: whitepapers, infographics, social posts, conference presentations, banner ads, roll up banners, magazine ads, videos...
  • Plan and execute strategies that drive to lead generation
  • Collaborate with fellow developers, designers, analysts and marketing specialists to solve problems
  • Ensure all specifications are interpreted and applied accurately to the designs
  • Ensure artwork produced meets the agreed standards for performance, timeliness, and accuracy and is in compliance with DAC's requirements
