The Marketing Manager's primary mandate is to plan the marketing budget, , control costs (ROI), and drive a omni-channel marketing strategy. His strategic role also consists of managing the car dealer program (TireLink) and Alliance by TireLink exclusive tire program and establishing a marketing plan for the retail sales channel.

Responsibilities

  • Define and plan the marketing budget for TireLink and Alliance by TireLink programs;
  • Review and manage effectively Marketing Funds program and establish a marketing strategy in partnership with OEMs;
  • Follow-up with the dealerships and OEMs regarding marketing strategies;
  • Define the program features and value proposition for the car dealer segment;
  • Work with various automotive manufacturers to support in the development of omni-channel B2C marketing campaigns;
  • Assist in the development of the marketing strategy for the Alliance sales channel by working on the branding, program features, value proposition and activities calendar and by helping to establish a media campaign;
  • In collaboration with the Finance Department, establish solid ROI analysis for the promotions and campaigns;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders within key customers to support tire sellout and drive strategy;
  • Participate in the launching of new products by defining product features and advantages, planning promotional photos and updating product portfolios;
  • Plan promotional events and determine the promotional calendar;
  • Help coordinate new developments with IT, manage Web agencies and supervise design agencies;
  • Support the rollout & growth of B2C tire eCommerce websites, leverage Google Analytics, Google Ads, and other tools to increase conversions.

Success factors

  • Expertise: Holder of a University degree in business administration with a marketing profile, you have a vast experience (10 years) in business development and marketing. In addition to being passionate about marketing, you have a strong interest in the automotive industry, and more particularly, the tire distribution field;
  • Language skills: Articulate with a strong interest for words and language, you are very creative when composing a message for an audience, in both French and English (oral and written) *(Bilingualism is required if the candidate is based in Montreal. If based in Burlington, only English is required)*;
  • Computer skills: You are very comfortable with the Microsoft Office suite and you master the intermediate features of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.). You know how to use social media and graphics software.
  • Leadership: You inspire confident and credibility and know how to mobilise your colleagues with your passion for you work and your management abilities. Your team spirit allows you to guide your colleagues towards new initiatives;
  • Client oriented: Your analytical thinking allows you to understand the clients' needs. With remarkable interpersonal and communication skills, you know how to easily establish business relationships thus increasing the company's revenues.
  • Organisational ability: You know how to manage stress despite a heavy workload, establish priorities to ensure deadlines are met and guide your team towards achieving their objectives.
