Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for handling the daily communications and marketing tasks for Moulin Wakefield Hôtel & Spa, including:

  • Managing the hotel's social media platforms — Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn (content creation, planning, animation, moderation)
  • Developing and implementing marketing campaigns to promote the hotel's offerings, including content creation
  • Managing and creating weekly newsletters
  • Updating and optimizing website content
  • Creating photo and video content for social media
  • Designing basic graphic elements for marketing and promotional campaigns
  • Managing relationships with influencers and media partners
  • Analyzing and tracking the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Researching and monitoring marketing trends and the hotel market, as well as conducting competitive intelligence
  • Supporting and coordinating any other marketing activities

Required Skills:

  • Fluent in both French and English, spoken and written
  • Excellent writing skills in both French and English
  • Strong organizational skills, priority management, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Proficiency in digital media and its tools
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Dynamic, creative, and motivated

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing or communications
  • Experience in hospitality or tourism is an asset
  • Proficiency in the following tools: Google Analytics/Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Later
  • Competence with website management technologies (CMS, WordPress, SquareSpace) and good knowledge of SEM and SEO
  • Proficiency in Canva and infographic and video editing tools
  • Knowledge of newsletter delivery systems (MailChimp, Cyberimpact, or others)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator) is an asset
  • Ability to quickly learn new computer programs
