We require an in-house graphic strategist and designer. We look to this person to elevate complex topics to a level of simplicity through compelling visual design.

In this role they will work as part of a greater communications and creative services team made up of in-house and external professionals to lead creative and design development of content for clients and StrategyCorp's marketing initiatives.

The successful candidate will possess excellent project management skills, can lead multiple projects at once and has the ability to collaborate with team members across the organization to complete high-quality, on-time deliverables. Key Responsibilities

The role will involve a wide range of design and artwork responsibilities:

  • Serve as the firm's primary graphic designer and lead the ideation and creation of visual content and materials such as proposals, reports, website visuals, elements for social media content, marketing materials, digital media requirements and other documents designed to communicate to a variety of audiences (government, public, investors, employees, etc.)
  • Provide creative visual approaches to organizing and communicating information in clear and concise formats
  • Create illustrations, infographics, diagrams, and charts for use in reports and presentation materials
  • Obtain consultant input to develop project creative briefs to determine requirements and vision for design elements, and manage the timely completion of deliverables
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
  • Refine PowerPoint presentations to ensure high visual standards - including developing visual content for inclusion in PowerPoint presentations
  • Specify production requirements for projects and manage the production through to delivery
  • Maintain good internal systems for creative assets available to all staff

Essential Skills

  • Extensive knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Remarkable creativity and a collaborative mindset
  • Ability to take complex material or ideas and elevating it to tell simple, compelling stories
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to set overall creative tone and lead creative design process
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Project management skills and ability to work across teams
  • Knowledge of requirements for print production
  • Understanding of AODA requirements and experience creating accessible and inclusive communication materials and designs
Qualifications and Experience
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in graphic and digital media design
  • 4+ years of professional corporate design experience
