We hope you are up for the challenge! We are currently seeking to fill an INSIDE SALES BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE role at our head office located at 70 Planchet Road in Concord, Ontario. The successful candidate will be working on site all week as this is an in office position.

SKILL & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • A college or university degree with 3-5 years of sales or sales support experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • French language is a strong asset.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration; Adaptability; Initiative, Integrity, Individual Accountability, Organizational Excellence
  • Must have strong working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experienced using CRM software and ability to learn new software systems.
  • Detail oriented, dedicated, and a quick learner who is comfortable working both individually and as part of a team.
  • Friendly and courteous phone manner.
  • Must be outgoing and able to relate to customers and employees in a positive and constructive manner.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
  • Proven sales record.
  • RONCO PPE & Safety Knowledge is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate and sell into Commercial to National Account level customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilize the CRM system to administer all customer activities and follow-ups. Log activity notes in CRM.
  • Independently adheres to weekly schedule for assigned portfolio of contacts, accounts and outside Sales Group to build customer awareness of RONCO's PPE solutions and generate sales opportunities.
  • Assist National Accounts Key objectives and coordinating TM activities in support of National Account program and activities.
  • Regularly communicate with Non-Focus National accounts across Canada, being the point person for communication with this customer group.
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound leads follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails into the All-Canadian Assigned Customers.
  • Ensure customers are aware of program(s) or promotional opportunities being offered, understand their needs and requirements, and ensure CRM is updated.
  • Close sales and achieve assigned targets.
  • Establish a prospecting plan to research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.
  • Grow Sales pipeline and close opportunities.
  • Perform effective online demos to prospects, and training to customers where appropriate.
  • Provide product samples & follow up.
  • Understand customer pain points, obstacles for success and formulate action plan to advance sales opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned due to changing business needs.
