Our Talent Acquisition Team is currently in search of a skilled Talent Acquisition Coordinator who has solid experience and a keen interest in talent acquisition. The successful candidate will partner closely with the Talent Acquisition Specialists in support of recruitment and selection processes.

Note: This 12-month Limited Term Employment opportunity provides extended health benefits and 3-week's annual vacation. This position qualifies for an optional hybrid work schedule after 90 days of onsite work and onboarding. Employee will be subject to the terms of Seaspan's Flexible Work Policy Agreement.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate virtual and in-person interview schedules for Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialists, Candidates and Hiring Managers.
  • Provide administrative support to the TA Specialists.
  • Initiate background checks, psychometric testing and/or other pre-employment requirements.
  • Coordinate advertisements on various internal and external industry websites and job boards (major and niche).
  • Take the lead of internship recruitment across all business areas.
  • Assist with career event organization and participation.
  • Support with vendor contracts and relationships.
  • Monitor and action general recruitment email inquiries.
  • Develop and update regular reports on talent acquisition and mobility progress.
  • Subject matter experience related to Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) administration and updates.
  • Maintain candidate data base accuracy within the ATS.Other related duties as assigned.

What you'll bring

  • Minimum of 2+ years of Talent Acquisition or HR administration related experience.
  • Experience using professional social networks (LinkedIn, in particular).
  • Preferred experience working with an ATS (ideally Oracle).
  • Advanced skills with Excel and PowerPoint are definite requirements.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills, with the demonstrable ability to balance and prioritize based on business needs.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and problem solve in a fast paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Strong customer service focus.Keen attention to detail and accuracy at all times.

The estimated salary for this position is $67,500 - $82,500. In determining final salary, Seaspan considers many factors including the successful Candidate's skillset and experience as well as position location and internal equity. The final base salary offer will be at the Company's sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.
