Job Title: Social Media Coordinator

Location: This role is remote, with a preference for candidates based in Calgary, Alberta, or Los Angeles.

Position Overview: We are looking for a talented Social Media Coordinator to join our team on a part-time contractor basis, with the potential to transition to full-time. In this role, you will work closely with and report directly to our Account Director. Your responsibilities will include managing daily posting to Instagram and TikTok for multiple clients, creating engaging video content, overseeing community management, supporting the creation of content calendars, and creating monthly analytic reports. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to dynamic campaigns and collaborate with a dedicated (& FUN) team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day posting and community engagement on Instagram and TikTok
• Create and edit high-quality video content, including reels and TikToks designed to captivate and engage audiences
• Support the preparation of monthly analytic reports to track performance and insights
• Collaborate with and support our senior team members
• Ensure that all content aligns with client goals and brand identity

Skills:

• Deep understanding of major social media platforms
• Proficiency with video editing applications, such as CapCut or InShot
• Ability to tailor creative strategies to meet each client's unique needs and goals
• Skilled in managing multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously
• Up-to-date with rapidly changing social media trends
• Understanding of basic graphic design platforms including Canva and Figma
• Ability to receive and apply constructive feedback for continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in social media management or a related field
• Attributes: Creative thinker, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team. The ideal candidate is proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable
• Musts: You must have strong time management skills. We don't mess around with deadlines!
