We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Marketing to join our team. Reporting to the partners and leadership. This individual will develop and execute marketing strategies that align with the firm's vision and growth. The ideal candidate will have an MBA, a background in marketing, and a creative sensibility, with a proven track record in overseeing communications, business development, and brand management.

This candidate will oversee the firm's strategic marketing platform and business development initiatives, integrating business development with project-specific promotion; shaping compelling storytelling materials that effectively showcase the firm's strengths and consistently deliver measurable results.

This candidate's leadership will ensure a cohesive and effective approach to marketing, fostering strong relationships with clients and partners.

As the Director of Marketing, you will:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance the firm's reputation, brand awareness, and market positioning.
  • Oversee and guide the Director of Communications and Manager of Proposals & CRM in the development and execution of strategic communication plans, client relationship management, and proposal creation.
  • Collaborate with the Founding Partners to identify new business opportunities and establish marketing goals that support overall firm objectives.
  • Develop and execute media strategies in partnership with BD teams and key opinion leaders.
  • Supervise digital lead generation efforts, ensuring accurate tracking and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Sales teams to refine lead follow-up processes and search criteria based on feedback.
  • Manage relationships with external marketing vendors and key partners.
  • Assist senior management in tracking and analyzing digital marketing performance and KPIs.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to ensure the firm remains at the forefront of Canadian architecture.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts, fostering relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee brand management, ensuring consistency in messaging, visual identity, and corporate values across all marketing and communication channels.
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, using data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Manage marketing budgets and resources effectively, ensuring optimal ROI on marketing investments.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry contacts.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, marketing automation, and analytics tools.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and resources to maximize ROI.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
