Position Overview:

The Social Media Specialist supports the strategy, creation, and execution of social media marketing and content marketing efforts on the Brand team. The ideal candidate is passionate about building and engaging online communities, has a deep understanding of various social media platforms, and possesses excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities :

Social Media Strategy: Supported by senior stakeholders, collaborate to align social media efforts with overall marketing and program goals.

Social Media Content Creation & Execution: From ideation to execution, launch content across socials. Content to be developed both internally and externally. Candidate must stay on top of industry trends and emerging platforms to ensure our social media presence remains innovative and effective.

Social Listening and Reporting: Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and optimize future campaigns, regularly reporting on key performance indicators, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.

Community Engagement: Identify and collaborate with brand advocates and influencers to amplify the brand's reach

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of directly related work experience in social media management and community engagement
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Problem solver.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with customer service is an asset.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for staying current on industry trends.

Salary:

$44,500.00 - $82,500.00

Salaried

The above represents AIR MILES' pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents AIR MILES' expected target for the first year in this position.

AIR MILES' total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards. AIR MILES also offers health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
