We are currently looking for a Bilingual HR Advisor who shares our purpose and vision to join our global team. This role can be based out of our Toronto, Vancouver, or Calgary office.
The role holder will work proactively with our key stakeholders to ensure the people agenda is at the forefront of business area strategy. The role and wider team will provide comprehensive HR advice, guidance, facilitate and coordinate people processes to support to the business area leadership team. Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of the HR strategy and transformation plan as we move to a technology enabled operating model, driving and supporting changes in leadership and line management behaviours.
- Advise line managers on HR polices and procedures, as well as providing support and guidance for performance management activities.
- Case management of Employee Relations.
- Ensure all people activities are delivered effectively, professionally and within required timescales.
- Work with HR Centres of Excellence to support the delivery of projects as required.
- Support end to end employee lifecycle from processing of new hires to leavers.
- Work with HR Business Partners and HR Manager to support the delivery of annual people processes e.g. performance review process, succession planning and talent management, budgeting and salary review.
- Support the HR Business Partners and HR Manager to devise and implement people plans aligned to the HR and business area strategy to improve engagement and reduce attrition.
- Provide input into policy development activities to raise awareness of and ensure compliance with best practice.
- Analyse regular and ad hoc people data reports and data presentations as required, making recommendations for action.
- Support the delivery of D&I plans in collaboration with the HR Business Partners in line with DWF targets.
- Ensure HR Data is kept up to date and accurate in HR systems.
- Address employee HR queries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution, with professionalism and quality maintained throughout all activity
- Lead and advise on the probation process
- Initiate the creation of key documents through the HR systems and manage related processes.
- 2 to 3 years Human Resources or relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration ore related field preferred
- Fluent in French and English
- Understanding of Canadian employment law and current regulations
- Proficiency with HR software systems for managing employee data and reporting
- Strong judgement, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of attention to detail What we offer:
The salary range for this role is: $55,000-$70,000 CAD
