As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and executing marketing and communications strategies for our clients. Our ideal candidate has experience developing marketing campaigns from scratch and implementing new tactics based on analytics that support the goals of the client. They also have content creation expertise, including the ability to create blogs, social media content, website writeups, and more. You will be comfortable with day-to-day marketing and communications activities, as well as long-term strategy, thriving with tight deadlines and changing needs.

  • Work with client teams to implement marketing & communications strategies that support client goals.
  • Develop, own, implement and measure online and offline marketing plans.
  • Plan, create content and manage social media channels, including creating graphics and images when necessary.
  • Work with clients to create content that engages their audiences, markets their expertise and offerings, and drives traffic and organizational growth. This could include blog posts, social media content, and more.
  • Implement new, innovative marketing campaigns that make an impact.
  • Implement (when necessary) and manage Google Analytics for clients.
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly.
  • Creating and leading email marketing campaigns and content.

Detailed Qualifications

  • 3-4 years marketing experience
  • Proven experience creating and implementing paid and organic social media strategies (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google)
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, SEO and lead generation
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Proven ability in content creation (blogs, social media content, etc.)
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Experience working with association and not-for-profits is preferred but not necessary
