Marketing & Events Coordinator (Full-Time, Remote, Vancouver-Based)

We are seeking a talented and motivated Marketing & Events Coordinator to support our MarComm team on a wide range of promotional campaigns and events.

About the Role

Reporting to the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager, you will be instrumental in catalyzing meaningful conversations around emerging cleantech and decarbonization. You'll leverage your passion for the environment and community building, utilizing skills in technical events and marketing platforms, data and analytics, SEO optimization, light graphic design (Canva), and social media content generation and engagement.

You will support Foresight's 90+ annual events to drive cleantech adoption, acceleration, and investment, including 30% of events are held in person in strategic cities across Canada for up to 300 people. Whether virtual or in-person, all our events foster knowledge sharing, networking, and strategic insights, ultimately catalyzing an innovative, prosperous, and cleantech-driven future.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

Report metrics for Data team (monthly)

Draft communications materials for programs, events, and initiatives, including web and registration page copy, social share kit content, and more, in line with our tone and language guidelines

Measure, analyze, and report on project metrics

Evaluate and evolve the effectiveness of our online presence and suggest tools or strategies to improve the audience experience and engagement

Logistically support in-person events with minimum supervision

Support with extra help when necessary

Skills and Experience:

1-2 years of marketing, communications, and/or events experience

Experience in crafting written and/or visual communications for a public audience

Experience running virtual events through Zoom Webinars and meetings

Tech-savvy with a keen willingness to learn new event and marketing platforms

Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original, authentic engagement opportunities

Strong attention to detail, prioritization skills, and follow-through

Bonus Skills:

Experience in social media engagement, graphic design (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite), and/or content writing

Experience with Wrike or similar project management tools, Hubspot or similar CRMs, and light video editing software

Job Type: Full-time, Remote Vancouver-based

Rate: $50,000- $55,000
