Ideogram is a fast-growing generative AI startup looking for a dedicated Marketing Lead to join as the first marketing hire to lead marketing efforts, driving growth, brand awareness, and customer engagement. About The Role

As the Marketing Lead, you'll play a critical role in shaping our growth strategy and marketing roadmap. You will ensure that marketing efforts align with business goals to drive company growth. Your focus will be on developing and executing strategies across growth, product, and social media marketing. You'll work closely with the founders and cross-functional teams to scale our product and brand. Additionally, you'll manage external contractors to implement marketing initiatives efficiently.

You'll have the resources to drive growth, including budget for experimentation and the potential to expand your marketing team as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

Growth Marketing: Develop and implement strategies to drive user acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue growth.

SEO & Content Strategy: Optimize organic traffic through effective SEO practices and compelling content.

Email Marketing: Build and manage email marketing campaigns to engage and nurture leads, improve retention, and drive conversions.

Product Marketing: Partner with product teams to craft go-to-market strategies, positioning, messaging, and product launches.

Social Media & Influencer Engagement: Oversee social media channels to build brand awareness, engage with the community, and manage partnerships with influencers to amplify our reach and visibility.

Contractor Management: Work with contractors or freelancers to execute the marketing plan efficiently and cost-effectively.

Data-Driven Optimization: Use analytics to track and optimize marketing campaigns, refining strategies based on performance insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure marketing efforts align with broader business goals.

Experimentation & Scaling: Test new marketing channels and growth initiatives, with a budget for experimentation, to scale the business.

What We're Looking For

More than 3 years of experience in marketing, ideally as an early marketing hire at an early-stage startup.

Proven success in driving growth through innovative marketing strategies.

Strong understanding of SEO, email marketing, digital marketing, and content creation.

Experience managing contractors or freelancers to execute marketing plans.

Proficiency with analytics platforms and marketing automation tools.

Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proactive approach to marketing ownership.

Experience engaging with influencers and leveraging partnerships to grow brand visibility.

Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment where creativity and data-driven decisions go hand in hand.
