WHAT WILL BE YOUR DAILY PURSUIT?
The Marketing Coordinator for Banff Jasper Collection (BJC) will support the BJC & larger Pursuit Marketing team in the coordination of marketing activities that will drive visitation and revenue growth in BJC. The position is based in Banff and reports directly to the Marketing and Brand Experience Manager for Banff.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN THIS JOB?
- Support the BJC Marketing Manager.
- Collaborate with the broader Pursuit Marketing team to implement marketing initiatives effectively, ensuring that each business line within BJC meets its revenue targets.
- Support the BJC Project Manager with seasonal readiness requirements (including signage, collateral, web, and third-party listings) for each line of business within Banff, Golden and Waterton.
- Coordinate with the digital team to update content on the banffjaspercollection.com website and other digital communications.
- Support the BJC Marketing Manager with all other tasks as assigned, including executing on local advertising, group & event management initiatives, managing creative projects, working with vendors on design & printing projects, supporting business month-end administrative tasks, etc.
- Conduct regular on-site visits to connect with staff and perform walkthroughs to ensure brand consistency throughout the guest journey, identify updates required and opportunities.
- Help manage the storage and distribution of marketing assets including images, electronic files, and creative archive library within our digital asset management system.
- Share experience, event and offer content with partners including Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs) and third-party sites.
- Assist the social media and content marketing teams by collecting content in the form of photo and video, as needed.
- Assist with brand photoshoots by helping coordinate logistics, including on-site hosting and collaborating with the operations team as needed.
- Assist with the logistical coordination and implementation of media and influencer marketing visits. This may include on-site hosting, as required
WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED FOR THIS JOB?
- 1 year Marketing experience
- Excellent written communication skills
- Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications or Tourism
- Competent with Microsoft Office (ie. Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
- Experience with Asana and project management platforms an asset
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva an asset
- Experience with photography and videography an asset
- Desire to work in a fast-paced organization
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to work as a team but also independently
- Valid Canadian Drivers' License
- Ability to travel between Banff, Jasper, Canmore, Calgary and Golden B.C
