Position Overview:

As the Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in elevating the brand visibility and engagement of YMCA Hamilton|Burlington|Brantford. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, you will be instrumental in driving the YMCA's brand presence, expanding program reach, boosting member engagement, and supporting our mission to build healthy communities.

In this position, you will:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies in collaboration with operations leadership to increase membership, program participation, and community engagement.
  • Oversee and optimize marketing campaigns across traditional and digital platforms, utilizing tools like Marketing Cloud to enhance effectiveness and personalization.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and maintain brand integrity across all marketing materials.
  • Lead the creation of engaging content, including blogs, newsletters, videos, and promotional materials.
  • Utilize analytics tools to track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with various programs across the Association with a strong customer service mindset.
  • Support events and community outreach initiatives to promote YMCA programs and services.
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and maximizing ROI.
  • Provide supervision, direction, and mentorship to the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Perform other duties as required.

You Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; a Master's Degree is an asset.
  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on digital marketing and brand management. Non-profit sector experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Marketing Cloud).
  • Proven experience in strategic leadership, with the ability to inspire and guide teams and stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications in digital marketing and analytics are an asset.
  • A strong customer service orientation, creativity, project management skills, and a passion for the YMCA's mission.
