Job Summary
We're seeking a dynamic Content Specialist to lead the creation, management, and optimization of both existing and new content for Levitt-Safety. This role involves leveraging SEO best practices, utilizing advanced analytics tools, and driving digital strategy to enhance customer engagement and conversions. You will collaborate with internal newsletters and identify content needs, manage diverse content types from web articles to newsletters, and optimize our marketing automation and lead generation strategies. Your goal will be to produce compelling content that resonates with our audience, increases traffic, and supports our brand's digital presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creation, management, and optimization of a variety of content formats, including web articles, blog posts, newsletters, eBooks, social media posts, and multimedia, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Conduct content audits, gap analyses, and competitive audits to identify content needs and recommend new topics or materials.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy, optimizing content across the product and service portfolio.
- Apply SEO best practices to all content, using analytics tools to track web traffic, user engagement, and conversion rates for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, product, e-commerce, and design, to ensure content enhances the customer experience across all platforms.
- Plan, write, and coordinate content for lead generation, marketing automation, and nurturing campaigns through email, social media, and other channels, ensuring integration with CRM and automation tools.
- Organize and host webinars and events by suggesting relevant topics, conducting keyword research, and collaborating with teams and suppliers to create engaging sessions.
- Monitor digital performance metrics and use data-driven insights to refine content strategies and improve conversion rates.
- Create and manage supporting materials for national and regional tradeshows, including presentations, pre-show promotions, and post-show follow-ups.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and generate content ideas around trending topics, interviewing industry professionals and employees to gather insights.
- Establish and maintain content guidelines for tone, style, and voice to ensure consistent brand messaging across all communications.
- Regularly review and update published content for accuracy, relevance, and adherence to SEO and brand standards.
- Collaborate with the e-commerce team to optimize product descriptions and other digital content to drive online sales and improve customer experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned with a collaborative, team-first mindset.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Content Specialist, Content Manager, or similar role.
- Strong copywriting skills with a portfolio of published articles and engaging content.
- Excellent communication and creative thinking abilities, with attention to detail and a data-driven approach to content decisions.
- Proficient in marketing automation tools, CMS (e.g., WordPress), HTML, and web publishing.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and keyword research tools.
- Experience using Google Analytics and other platforms to track content performance and optimize strategies.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and experience in developing content for these channels.
- Excellent written communication and editing skills in English; French language skills are a plus.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience with HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, and Pardot Marketing Automation, as well as knowledge of the safety industry, is an advantage.
