We are growing! We are looking for a passionate, driven, and enthusiastic candidate to join our team for the position of Content Marketing & Communications Manager, located in our Head Office in Guelph, Ontario.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Content Marketing & Communications Manager to develop and implement the company's internal and external communication strategy. This will include creating strategies, writing and reviewing content, ensuring all content shared has the correct voice and brand identity all while growing the profile of each of the companies.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead the development of comprehensive content marketing and communication strategies and action plans across different media: web, blogs, infographics, social media, mass emails, presentations, press releases, etc.
  • Develop company press releases for community/charity efforts, transactions, and other newsworthy stories.
  • Ensure all content crafted and shared internally and externally is consistent with Skyline's corporate imaging and branding.
  • Develop and execute ongoing external and internal content strategy around existing and new Skyline initiatives, including achievements, events, initiatives, appearances, etc.
  • Work with affiliate companies, Digital Marketing, and Graphic Design to draft, edit, refine, and update website content as needed and as it pertains to SEO and SEM.
What we look for:
  • College Diploma or University Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business, Public Relations/Media Relations or other related field.
  • A minimum of seven (7) years relevant experience OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Creative business writer (but not too creative, we have to be truthful) who can make even the driest subject matter sound exciting.
  • Someone who turns words into wonders: ace researcher, grammar guru, and editing expert with a keen analytical edge.
  • Flexibility - not in a yoga kind of way, but more about being able to change gears quickly as our business needs evolve.
  • Strategy expert - we can depend on you to suggest the best course of action.
  • Proven track record in project management practices and ability to overcome challenges by using your magical organizational skills.
  • Professionalism - it means so many things, but to us it's about taking pride in the quality of service we provide to our customers.
