JOB DESCRIPTION
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to lead our Fisher-Price business segment. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding marketing, business operations, and customer management activities to achieve financial growth and profit targets. You will leverage your deep understanding of consumers, the business, and effective marketing strategies to propel our legendary brands into the future.
This role provides a unique opportunity to influence the growth of a nearly century-old brand by attracting new families and gift-givers. You will play a key role in driving brand relevance and differentiation, adapting our strategies to the evolving media consumption habits of consumers.
What Your Impact Will Be:
- Brand Management: Lead the day-to-day operations of the Fisher-Price brand, turning insights into actionable recommendations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand success in the Canadian market.
- Market Strategy: Drive item-level forecasting, tracking, and performance analysis to inform and refine marketing strategies.
- Promotional Planning: Develop and execute promotional plans by brand and customer, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Marketing Execution: Activate key marketing programs in Canada, leading a cross-functional team including Sales, Global Brand Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Integrated Media Communications.
- Budget Management: Oversee the annual budgets for both media and non-media activities, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Leadership: Coach and develop team and be a Marketing Co-lead for the larger ITPS Business Unit, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in consumer or brand marketing (6 years with an MBA). Proven track record in the retail business environment is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Advanced understanding of standard marketing techniques.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills.
- Ability to derive actionable insights from data and present them effectively to leadership.
- Experience in people management is required.
