ChargeHub is seeking a Web Product Owner capable of leading various digital projects like improving the company website and enhancing the brand online presence to support the company's growth across North America. Our unique position in the electric vehicle (EV) charging sector is recognized by industry leaders with whom we collaborate to support our mission of simplifying the charging experience for everyone, everywhere, by offering various consumer and business software solutions.

Position Summary 

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Director, the Web Product Owner will collaborate with numerous internal and external stakeholders to ensure that ChargeHub's website is managed according to best practices and achieves tangible results in meeting business objectives. She/He will be responsible for all web projects, overseeing strategy execution from conception to implementation, ensuring alignment with SEO resources and the various marketing strategies in place. The candidate will work closely with different teams and/or agencies (developers, designers, copywriters, coordinators) to achieve our strategic goals.

To succeed in this role, the candidate must have extensive experience in all areas related to the web, from strategy to execution. Versatility and the ability to demonstrate leadership in a fast-evolving company are essential qualities in this role.

Here are the main responsibilities:

Project Management and Product Ownership:

  • Manage and align internal, external design, and technical teams
  • Organize and manage development sprints using an agile methodology
  • Ensure web project management according to timelines, budgets, and priorities
  • Create and manage the web roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Conduct QA tests and guarantee the quality of deliverables before production

Web Specialist:

  • Manage and maintain our website using CMS platforms like HubSpot or similar systems.
  • Understand basic HTML/CSS techniques, with familiarity in PHP and JavaScript for adjustments when needed
  • Align corporate objectives with web strategy and implement appropriate KPIs and tracking
  • Monitor website performance using Google Analytics (GA) and Google Tag Manager (GTM)
  • Ensure the website follows UX/UI best practices, optimizing conversions and user experience

SEO & Optimization:

  • Conduct SEO analysis to identify target keyword strategies
  • Develop SEO strategies and plans to enhance the website's SEO performance
  • Ensure proper back-end MetaData structure in collaboration with developers
  • Apply and review the web integration team's work to adhere to SEO best practices

Digital Strategy and Optimization:

  • Conduct A/B testing to improve the user experience (UX)
  • Optimize conversions to meet business goals
  • Analyze the competition and make strategic recommendations
  • Improve website navigation and architecture based on quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Regularly review results and adjust strategies based on analytical data

Desired Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, computer science, or a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role or 7 years of experience in digital marketing that allows the candidate to work independently and demonstrate leadership
  • Experience in web project management, ideally in an agile environment
  • Advanced knowledge of CMS (HubSpot or others) and web development basics (HTML/CSS, PHP, JavaScript)
  • Advanced knowledge of web analysis tools such as Google Analytics (GA), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Big Query, and Google Search Console
  • Results-oriented approach, with the ability to analyze data and optimize online performance
  • Team player, good communicator, and solution-oriented
  • Autonomous, capable of taking initiative and demonstrating leadership
  • Bilingual; French and English
