The Assistant, Marketing is responsible for supporting the marketing team in its primary administrative duties to ensure the functionality and coordination of the marketing teams activities. Supporting the team in the creation of original, error free, clear, and concise copy for website content, promotional materials, sales support, and company newsletters that ensures compelling and effective communication. Co-ordinating projects from the beginning, including the approval stage, to on schedule completion. This individual will be a self-starter, highly motivated and thrive working in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage daily activities across social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook.
  • Produce captivating video content that reflects the brand voice.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar, organizing posts around content pillars, seasonal themes, company updates, and product launches.
  • Engage with followers, monitor platform interactions, and track social media performance metrics.
  • Stay updated on social media trends and identify growth opportunities for company brands.
  • Collaborate with the Team to produce eye-catching creatives, video edits, and compelling captions for Instagram and other platforms like Blog posts and e-mail marketing
  • Assist in generating content ideas, including graphics and videos.
  • Identify, build, and maintain influencer partnerships and campaign performance.
  • Support on fund marketing material updates
  • Collaborate in the organization and execution of in-person and online events
  • Manage daily administrative tasks to ensure the Marketing department runs smoothly.
  • Tracking and reporting, leads, conversion rates, website traffic and social media engagement

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a marketing assistant
  • Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach to plan, prioritize and achieve accurate results supporting department goals.
  • Excellent time management skills, completing daily tasks, prioritizing responsibilities and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate events and meetings, write clear and concise marketing content, proposals and presentations.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience with Figma, photoshop, webflow an asset
  • Exquisite communication and people skills
  • Degree in Marketing, Business or relevant field is a strong advantage
