NKPR is looking for an experienced Social Media and Content Specialist to join our Toronto team and support with content creation and community managing NKPR's digital channels. The Social Media and Content Specialist will be a creative thinker who can turn concepts into compelling content in tandem with PR teams to meet our overall marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficiency in using major social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
  • Build content calendars and write copy for social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, website, blog, newsletters, etc)
  • Ability to create engaging and high-quality content, including graphics, videos, and written posts

  • Post content and manage engagement, including comments, messages and mentions on social media platforms
  • Ensure the growth of social media channels and development of an engaged online audience
  • Manage social media and newsletter campaigns, paid programs, strategic partnerships, and promotions
  • Proactively research, recommend and, execute new social media strategies and tactics

Qualifications:

  • MUST HAVE strong writing skills with 3-5 years social media copywriting for editorial and/or brands
  • Experience in Editorial, PR or Marketing preferred
  • Creative thinker with a demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into social media strategies
  • Exceptional writing skills with a proven ability to adapt tone based on the audience and brand objectives
  • A sharp eye for the details
  • Strong skills in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)

  • Deep knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, and engagement strategy

  • Ability to incorporate our brand voice and identity in digital content
  • Ability to create content that is engaging and successful across channels and audiences
  • Highly-organized self-starter who can balance multiple priorities and drive results
  • Accountable and deadline-driven team player
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
