Marketing Manager, Equiton Development

About the Position:

Successful candidates must have three to five years of experience in marketing and be available to work at the company's head office in Burlington, ON.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the VP of Sales & Marketing, Equiton Developments to understand the key objectives and deliverables.
  • Working in partnership with Equiton's creative team as well as external agencies when required to guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets.
  • Create and execute email and social media campaigns driving people to register for more information about Equiton Development homes for sale, including copywriting, asset coordination, quality assurance, scheduling, and testing.
  • Manage different target audiences and segments for email messaging to drive engagement.
  • Utilize automation software to build and execute automated and triggered email campaigns.
  • Provide regular campaign performance reports and assess against goals.
  • Help conceptualize and execute multi-channel campaigns across the home buying prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels.
  • Ensure all content is up to brand standards and industry best practices.
  • Gather customer and market insight to inform outreach strategies, increase registrations, and generate more qualified leads.
  • Write and assist in creating various content aimed at driving registrations for more information regarding current projects, including news/press releases, informational documents such as blogs, social media posts, email copy, and website copy.
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines
  • Produce consistent and error-free content that adheres to the company's high standards.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar position (real estate development experience will be an asset)
  • Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or relevant field
  • Solid understanding on online copywriting and how it impacts search engine optimization
  • Proficient in marketing automation tools like Mailchimp and social media management tools like Hootsuite and Later
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter) and how they can be deployed
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing analytics
  • Outstanding communication and relationship management skills - operates with tact, diplomacy, and integrity
  • Anticipatory, practice, and responsive - thinks ahead and plans accordingly to minimal guidance
  • Strong work ethic and team player - trustworthy, capable, and reliable
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
