Overview of Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and results-driven individual with a proven ability to execute integrated multi-channel digital campaigns to join an entrepreneurial and rapidly growing real estate private equity firm. A key member of the dynamic marketing team, the Digital Marketing Specialist will report directly to the VP, Marketing.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of Greybrook's integrated digital marketing initiatives. Through an entrepreneurial attitude and a broad range of digital, creative and design marketing skills, they will proactively optimize Greybrook's digital presence, increasing brand awareness, product demand and creating a consistent end-to-end experience for key audiences. The Digital Marketing Specialist will be accountable for various aspects of our digital and design capabilities across the firm's various platforms to support Greybrook's overall business priorities and key objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Marketing Team to develop, implement and manage the firm's end-to-end digital presence and capabilities across various channels;
  • Assist with all organic and paid media strategies and initiatives focused on brand awareness, lead generation and engagement of key audiences;
  • Execute marketing automation programs for events, webcasts and email campaigns;
  • Support website management and SEO strategies to optimize page ranking;
  • Manage social media accounts and content calendars;
  • Design and develop engaging and visually appealing marketing content across marketing platforms, including social media, digital campaigns and events;
  • Create and edit multimedia content, such as graphics, videos and infographics;
  • Craft compelling content including project updates, firm news and other content across various platforms;
  • Compile regular reporting on digital marketing metrics to drive marketing effectiveness and leverage data-driven insights;
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on creative projects and initiatives aligned with key business objectives;
  • Conduct ongoing research into digital trends, identifying new marketing tools to drive better outcomes;

Qualifications & Experience

  • A creative marketing professional with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a digital and design marketing capacity;
  • Experience within a financial/investment-oriented firm or a creative agency working with investment oriented or development clients;
  • Post-Secondary education required, preferably with a focus in marketing, communications or advertising;
  • A dynamic professional who is looking for an opportunity to be a value creator in a fast-paced and high-performance environment;
  • Team player, as well as, independent self-starter who proactively seeks opportunities to improve processes and enhanced capabilities;

Key Attributes

  • Ability to operate and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Robust knowledge of a wide range of digital marketing strategies and tactics across all platforms and communication channels including but not limited to web management, social media, paid marketing, marketing automation, and SEO/SEM;
  • Hands-on experience with digital analytics platforms (Google Analytics) and campaign reporting;
  • Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to write compelling marketing messaging;
  • A creative mind with an understanding of current content marketing trends;
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities;
  • Strong finance, economics and real estate acumen an asset;
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills.
