ROLE

Reporting to the Director of Operations at Mission ESG, the Marketing and Sales Manager will leverage industry knowledge, data analysis, and forecasting to implement an effective sales and growth strategy for Mission Environmental Services Group, continuing sustainable growth of all subsidiary companies. Assisting operations working with the General Managers of Mission's subsidiaries to set and monitor division specific capacities, the Marketing and Sales Manager is required to develop a sales pipeline targeting high value customers with quality service offerings, and healthy customer relations, understanding each business's current and future limitations. The Marketing and Sales Manager will also oversee the development of proposals, bids, quotations, RFP responses, or other documents describing organizational products and services in response to requests from prospective clients.

Core Functions

  • Understand the core values of the businesses.
  • Marketing strategy support and implementation, Set 3-Year, 1-Year, and Quarterly goals.
  • Establish and monitor company sales key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Partner with General Managers to develop marketing and communications platforms including targeted publications, e-campaigns and promotional materials.
  • Partner with marketing team to promote digital and social media marketing and brand awareness
  • Develop and maintain an internal survey to ensure the business remains on target.
  • Develop a ?followed by all? strategy for achieving all immediate and long-term goals.
  • Develop company brand standards.
  • Perform local market analysis.
  • Perform Inside and Outside Sales.
  • Maintain new client pipeline.
  • Maintain departmental budgets.
  • Proactive Marketing.
  • Monitor local business competitors.

Competencies/Qualifications for Role

  • Post-Secondary degree in business administration, marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in business development and operations management, preferably in waste management.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Attendance of trade and industry association events, and networking with industry professionals.
  • Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and operational management systems.
  • Critical thinker with creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Some travel is required.
  • Available in-person, full time.

Compensation Outline

  • Starting annual salary of $100,000-$120,000
