MARKETING MANAGER

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead executing strategic marketing plans that drive brand awareness, generate leads, and drive growth with our schools and youth sports segment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing, drive to attack a revenue goal, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a generalist role, so the successful candidate will need to have expertise across multiple areas of marketing, both online and offline.

Responsibilities:

  • Build an in-depth understanding of the business, brand, value proposition, service offering and market landscape to determine how to best reach the target audience.
  • Maintain competitive reviews of similar offerings within market to understand others' competitive positioning.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing, and apply relevant knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement acquisition campaigns targeting schools and youth sports leagues to promote our services, and increase brand visibility.
  • Work with shared services partners (graphic designer, email marketer, digital marketer, etc.) to create and execute campaigns (offline and online), product onboarding, sales collateral and assets for the website.
  • Support the Business Development Manager in creating content, sell sheets, and supporting with the development of RFP responses.
  • Write engaging content for various channels from email campaigns to blog articles.
  • General copywriting for all assets as required.
  • Produce marketing assets and collateral, including graphics, videos, and other promotional materials.
  • Plan and execute tradeshows, and create engaging experiences for attendees.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics for both online and offline activities, including reach, engagement, conversion rates, ROI, and provide regular reports to management.

This position will be a hybrid position with the requirement to work from our office (Oakville, ON - Winston Churchill/Dundas) 3 times/week, and as required for special events.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or in a similar role, with a track record of successful marketing campaigns and achievement of measurable results.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing principles across both offline and online channels
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting for content and advertising purposes.
  • Proficient in using marketing software and tools, including Mailchimp, Google Analytics, etc.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
