The Opportunity:

The individual supports the Marketing Manager by providing guidance at regional major events and partnerships that strengthen the WSP brand, in line with strategic objectives. By collaborating with multiple internal clients and external stakeholders, he or she contributes to the development and deployment of marketing initiatives according to plans, objectives, budgets, timelines and key messages. He or she ensures rigorous follow-up of deliverables in compliance with tight budgets and deadlines. He or she also participates in the creation of adapted marketing tools to support business development and serve the company's target audiences, while contributing to the development of the WSP brand within Western Canada.

What you can expect to do here:

• Conduct events and follow up on partnership agreements while quantitatively and qualitatively evaluating success through the analysis of performance data, and make recommendations
• Evaluate sponsorship opportunities and make recommendations
• Coordinate the production of marketing materials, such as banners, kiosks, videos and promotional items,
• Ensure that all marketing materials and communication channels are aligned and integrated, while being consistent with WSP's vision and brand strategy.?
• Support the various internal colleagues and executives in Western Canada, as well as his or her immediate superior (the marketing manager) in their handling of ad hoc requests.??
• Prepare presentations to explain sponsorship reports, results and impacts.
• Ensure that all initiatives are carried out with attention to detail, while adhering to established processes, deadlines and budgets.

What you'll bring to WSP:

• Experience in event, sponsorship and partnership management and intermediate experience (at least 5 years) in B2B marketing or services
• A degree in marketing or business administration.
• Excellent communication skills written and oral
• Be able to work independently and lead projects with minimal supervision; show initiative and willingness to make things happen even in uncertain situations, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational skills in a performance and client-oriented environment and ability to manage and prioritize competing priorities.
• Experience in collaborating with senior leaders and supporting internal colleagues. Act effectively and remain friendly, even under pressure.
• Creative and innovative - stay on top of marketing trends and developments and constantly adapt to ever-changing channels, tactics and opportunities.
• Excellent skills and a keen interest in developing knowledge about sponsorship, event and marketing trends and activities.
• A passion for environmental sustainability and community engagement is an asset.
