Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum

What you will be doing:

As a Marketing Specialist, reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will play a key role in driving product awareness, desire, and action by:

  • Optimize campaigns to drive leads, customer loyalty, and brand awareness.
  • Develop targeted content for websites, marketing materials, and social media.
  • Engage audiences with social media posts, website updates, and email automation. Work with Sales and Marketing teams on emails, presentations, and campaigns.
  • Build relationships with brand ambassadors and influencers to generate authentic content.
  • Enhance trade partnerships and manage contract workers for digital assets.
  • Collaborate with product managers on marketing strategies and operational plans.
  • Oversee the execution of marketing plans, adjusting based on performance analysis and feedback.
  • Produce regular reports on campaign performance and customer feedback.
  • Engage with Sales teams to tailor marketing efforts, develop promotional calendars, and establish success metrics and ROI.
  • Develop comprehensive communication launch plans with Sales and Product Management.
  • Create product launch materials and ongoing support assets, including copy, graphics, and videos.
  • Support trade partners in marketing and promoting our products through specialized trade channels and initiatives.
  • Ensure content consistency and relevance across all brands, regions, and products.
  • Assist with trade show activities, including pre-show, at-show, and post-show efforts.
  • Collect customer insights to support campaign, and product development projects.
  • Drive the development of customer service initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

What you bring:

  • Education: Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree in Communications, Marketing, Commerce/Business, or a related field of study.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years' relevant work experience required; 5+ years preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of digital marketing tools, email marketing platforms, and analytics.
  • Proficiency in social media marketing, YouTube campaigns, Google Ads, and Analytics.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously.
  • Creative thinking with a proactive and problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to work with ambiguous parameters and prioritize effectively.
